The TOEIC® Listening and Reading Test Question Settings – the context of TOEIC® Listening & Reading test materials is workplace-related; the situations depicted are ones in which working people would be likely to find themselves in an INTERNATIONAL setting.

In addition, the TOEIC® tests are standardized, which means test takers’ scores can be compared, regardless of where or where the test is administered. Standardized testing conditions give ALL test takers from around the world an equal opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency. Test content is developed from real examples from around the world that are familiar across different cultures.
